Mochi Lab is home of the original mochi cupcake! Our mom & pop bakery created a unique twist on Hawaii's favorite dessert: butter mochi! Our mochi is baked in cupcake form to ensure everyone gets the crust they crave. There's no excessive frosting slathered on top. Instead, we stuff the mochi cupcakes with custards, curds, and fillings which add just the right amount of sweetness. Our mochi cupcake is a dessert you can feel good about eating!
At Mochi Lab, we are inspired by the melting pot that is our island- the mixture of cultures and cuisines that feed our souls. We focus on flavors popular in places such as Hawaii, Japan, and Southeast Asia to create a unique taste unlike any other butter mochi.
We strive to support the future of sustainability in Hawaii by fostering relationships with farmers. We use locally grown fruits, vegetables, eggs, and extracts. Our mochi cupcake is made from scratch, by hand, in small batches, and with love EVERY time.
