Mochi Lab is a mom & pop bakery with a unique twist on Hawaii's best dessert: butter mochi! Our butter mochi is baked in cupcake form to ensure everyone gets the crust they crave. There's no excessive frosting slathered on top our mochi. Instead, we "stuff" the butter mochi with fillings, custards, and curds which add just the right amount of sweetness. Our butter mochi is a dessert you can feel good about eating!
At Mochi Lab, we are inspired by the melting pot that is our island- the mixture of cultures and cuisines that feed our souls. We focus on flavors popular in places such as Hawaii, Japan, and Southeast Asia to create a unique taste unlike any other butter mochi.
We strive to support the future of sustainability in Hawaii by fostering relationships with farmers. We use locally grown fruits, vegetables, eggs, and extracts. Our butter mochi is made from scratch, by hand, in small batches, and with love EVERY time.
